Photo Imports: When you upload or snap a photo of a recipe, the image data is temporarily processed to extract the text into a structured digital format.

We use the collected data strictly to power RecipeHub's utility and social features:

To Core Functionality: To display your personal recipe library, generate your chronological recipe feed from users you follow, and manage your bookmarks.

To Power Smart Imports: We utilize secure AI processing models (including Google Gemini) to analyze your imported URLs and photos to extract text into structured recipe details.

To Facilitate Sharing: To generate deep links and populate your public profile for users who follow you.

Public Social Activity: RecipeHub is a social platform. Your profile details (display name, bio, avatar) and the recipes you publish to your feed are visible to other users, including your followers.

• AI Processing: Image uploads and URLs intended for recipe extraction are processed securely through automated AI endpoints (like Google Gemini APIs) strictly for data parsing.

Content Management: You can edit or delete any recipe you manually created or imported at any time.

Account Deletion: You can choose to delete your account entirely through the app settings. Deleting your account removes your profile, follower connections, and published recipes from our active databases.
