Overview

I built Anchor because I wanted a structured way to check in with myself between therapy sessions; something more grounded than a standard journal, but without pretending to replace professional clinical care.

Human therapy is invaluable, but it has inherent logistical limitations. Therapists are human: they context-switch between dozens of clients a day, their energy and focus at 4:30 PM isn't the same as it was at 10:00 AM, and they have a limited cognitive context window. It’s incredibly difficult for them to retain the precise, compounding details of your life across weeks of sessions, which often dilutes the value of their feedback.

Anchor was built to solve those exact friction points. It is a support companion for wellbeing, self-awareness, and growth that is hyper-focused entirely on you. It doesn't get fatigued, it doesn't switch contexts, and it features a perfect memory for your history across sessions. By remembering the crucial details of your journey, Anchor adapts dynamically to how you're doing and provides highly consistent, research-backed guidance exactly when you need it.

Highlights

  • Voice or text sessions: talk it out loud or type. Both feed the same ongoing memory and continuity between sessions
  • Evidence-informed, not generic: guidance is grounded in a research knowledge base built from published psychological literature, not just an LLM's opinion
  • Remembers your context: session history and personal notes persist across visits, so it picks up where you left off instead of starting cold
  • Private by design: FaceID-locked on device, Supabase-backed auth, and a built-in crisis-resource safety net
